Ecostations integrate street or home collection and represent the most sustainable and least impact environmental option for the collection of urban waste.

The materials collected are mainly sent for material or energy recovery; where it is not technically possible, they are disposed of in landfills.

Users will be able to access only if equipped with a mask and gloves and can only confer two at a time. The GAIA staff will be responsible for sanitizing the registration totem at each entrance. Users in the queue will have to avoid crowds, while waiting for their turn they will not be able to get off their respective vehicles and must maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter. According to the regional provisions, users will be allowed to enter according to the usual methods of access, ie through a health card.
